The Kitsap Fire Academy celebrated the class of 2023-1 graduation on June 23. This class of recruits began their time at the academy in January and received their badges and certificates after successfully completing months of rigirous study, training and hard work. Now as graduates, they begin their professional firefighting careers for fire agencies right here in Kitsap County. Congratulations graduates!
Kitsap County Department of Emergency Management supported this important work by making available the use of some of our equipment, including our 12-passenger van. KCDEM Operations Officer Michael Robinson shared a word of congratulations on behalf of Acting Director Jan Glarum. KCDEM received an autographed and framed picture from the class which we will proudly display in our office.
